Waste Removal for Decorating Clients
A considered approach to clearing your space
A beautifully finished home begins with thoughtful preparation.
When unwanted furniture, old carpets or accumulated household items stand in the way of your decorating plans, Quality Finishing can help you plan the clearance alongside the work.
From a single item to a substantial property clear-out, our proposed clearance service gives decorating clients one point of contact to discuss the space, the timing and the finishing touches.
Enquiries are welcome.

Furniture & Unwanted Items

Make room for a fresh interior
Replacing furniture or changing how a room is used often goes hand in hand with redecoration.
Tell us about the items you would like removed as part of your project, including:
-
Sofas, armchairs and occasional furniture
-
Beds, bed frames and mattresses
-
Tables, chairs and freestanding cabinets
-
Wardrobes and other bulky household items
The proposed collection will be assessed around the items, their location and access through your home. Any dismantling or additional handling will be discussed before a price is agreed.
Carpets & Larger Waste Loads

Prepare the space for what comes next
If your decorating plans involve replacing flooring or clearing several rooms, we can discuss suitable removal arrangements within the overall programme.
Enquiries may include old carpets and underlay, multiple furniture items and agreed household waste.
Send photographs and a brief description so the volume, waste types and handling requirements can be assessed. For larger clear-outs, a visit may be needed.
Property Clearance Before Redecoration

From individual rooms to an entire home
A larger decorating project can involve more than choosing colours.
Whether you are refreshing a recently purchased property, preparing a home for letting or undertaking a full interior redecoration, clearance can be considered at the planning stage.
We will discuss what needs to stay, what needs removing and the order of work, helping you prepare the property for decorating with fewer separate arrangements to manage.
Clearing the Way for Decorating

One conversation. A clear scope. An agreed sequence.
Your home and your plans are individual. The clearance arrangements should reflect that.
By discussing removal requirements when we assess your decorating work, we can consider access, room availability and the timing of any follow-on work together.
Clearance charges will be identified separately from painting and decorating, so you can see what each part of the proposal covers.
How It Works
.png)
1. Tell Us About Your Project
Share the rooms you would like decorated, photographs of the items requiring removal and your property postcode.
Please include details of stairs, narrow entrances, parking and any other access restrictions.
2. Review the Proposed Arrangements
We assess the requirements and explain the proposed scope and charges. Larger clearances may require a site visit.
Any dismantling, additional handling or specialist requirements will be discussed before agreement.
3. Coordinate Clearance & Decorating
Once the service launches, collection timing can be agreed alongside your decorating programme, helping prepare the rooms for the next stage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is clearance available as part of my decorating project?
That is the purpose of this additional service: to help our decorating clients organise the removal of unwanted items alongside their planned work. We are currently welcoming enquiries ahead of launch.
Can I ask about a single item?
Yes. You can discuss one unwanted item, several bulky pieces or a larger clear-out connected with your decorating project.
Can items be removed from inside the house?
Please tell us where the items are and provide details of stairs and access. The handling arrangements will be assessed before a quotation is confirmed.
Is clearance included in the decorating price?
Clearance is an additional service. Any agreed charges will be shown separately from the painting and decorating work.
Are there items you cannot accept?
All items and waste types must be disclosed when enquiring. Hazardous materials, chemicals, asbestos and other specialist waste are outside a standard household clearance and require separate assessment.
