Traditional Hand Painted Kitchen &
Furniture Finishing.
Quality Finishing specialises in traditional hand-painted and fine-roller finishing for kitchens, fitted furniture and bespoke cabinetry throughout Kingston upon Thames, Surrey and South West London. Our experience includes working with high-quality cabinetry and furniture from manufacturers including Tom Howley, Clive Christian, Neville Johnson and Neptune, giving us a strong understanding of the careful preparation, detailing and finishing required when working with premium fitted furniture.
From kitchen cabinets and islands to fitted bookcases, media units, wardrobes and bespoke joinery, we provide the detailed preparation and finishing required to achieve a high-quality, durable result.
Every project is approached with particular attention to preparation, sharp detailing and the quality of the final finish, with the aim of retaining the character and quality of the original cabinetry.
A Quality Finish Starts With Preparation

Our preparation process can include thorough cleaning and degreasing, mechanical and detailed sanding, dust extraction, filling and minor surface repairs, sealing of exposed MDF where required, specialist priming and carefully applied finishing coats.
Particular care is taken around hinges, handles, glazing, lighting, worktops and adjoining finishes to produce clean lines and a professional result.

Considering Repainting Rather Than Replacing?

A professionally painted finish can completely change the appearance of existing cabinetry without the disruption and expense of replacing an otherwise good-quality installation.
Whether you’re refreshing an existing kitchen, changing the colour of fitted furniture or completing newly installed bespoke joinery, contact Quality Finishing to discuss the project.
Specialist Kitchen Cabinet Painting

Give an existing kitchen a completely new appearance without the cost and disruption of replacing good-quality cabinetry.
Quality Finishing provides specialist painting of kitchen doors, drawer fronts, end panels, cornices, plinths, islands and other fitted components. Existing finishes are carefully assessed before work begins so that the correct preparation, primer and finishing system can be selected.
Surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and degreased before detailed sanding and preparation. Minor imperfections can be filled and repaired, with exposed or previously damaged areas spot-primed where required.
Finishing coats are then carefully applied to produce a smooth, consistent and durable finish designed for the demands of a working kitchen.
Bespoke Furniture & Fitted Cabinetry

Our furniture painting service isn’t limited to kitchens.
Quality Finishing can professionally finish and repaint fitted wardrobes, bookcases, alcove units, media walls, television cabinetry, home offices, display units and other bespoke fitted furniture.
New MDF and timber joinery can also be prepared for decoration, including sealing, filling, detailed sanding, priming and finishing.
We understand that bespoke cabinetry requires a different level of attention from general decorating. Particular care is taken with panelled doors, mouldings, shelving, internal edges, cabinetry joints and adjoining surfaces to maintain the crisp detailing of the original installation.
Experienced in High-End Cabinetry Finishing

Quality Finishing brings extensive experience in the preparation and hand-finishing of premium kitchens and bespoke fitted furniture.
The quality of a furniture finish is determined long before the final coat is applied. Careful preparation, suitable primers, progressive sanding and attention to small imperfections are essential when working with cabinetry where every surface and detail is highly visible.
We work methodically to achieve clean edges, consistent coverage and a refined finish across doors, drawers, panels, shelving and detailed joinery.
Whether we’re refreshing an existing painted kitchen or finishing newly installed bespoke furniture, the objective is the same: a finish that complements the quality of the cabinetry itself.
